Gulf Shores Public Beach: The Perfect Summer SPot

Gulf Shores Public Beach, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is a part of the Gulf State Park. Due to state law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the beach. Public restrooms are available at the beach, and showers are available for public use in the parking lot. Parking fees vary by season and size of vehicle. Littering is prohibited in Alabama parks, except when carried out in designated areas by park personnel. Glass containers, metal cans and bottles are prohibited on the beach as well as styrofoam products such as coolers and cups. Pets are allowed at Gulf State Park, but must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet long at all times. Camping is not permitted on the beach or in the parking lot. The beach has an open-air pavilion with picnic tables that are available for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee is $10 per day for this beach access.
